Assessment and examination at MIPS are structured to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of student learning, integrating both theoretical understanding and practical application. institute follows a continuous and semester-based evaluation system, to promote consistent academic engagement and skill development throughout the course.

• Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA):

  Students are evaluated through assignments, online quizzes, presentations, class participation, and project work. These activities encourage regular learning, creativity, and the application of concepts in real-world contexts

• Practical Evaluation:

  For professional and skill-based courses, laboratory work, demonstrations, industry-based projects, and viva voce are conducted to test hands-on competencies.

• End-Semester Examinations:

  Formal written examinations are conducted at the end of each semester. Depending on the course, these may be supplemented with practical or portfolio-based submissions.

Assessment

1. Theory Exams:

   Semester-wise written tests or end-of-semester examinations.

2. Practical Assessments:

   Especially relevant for Animation & VFX, Hospitality, Aviation, and Design—likely include studio work, simulations, or hands-on project demos.

3. Assignments & Projects:

   Topic-based tasks, case studies, design portfolios, in-house events (e.g., fashion shows or hospitality simulations).

4. Presentations & Viva Voce:

   Oral defenses of projects, pitch presentations, or subject-based discussions.

5. Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE):

   Regular class tests, quizzes, group tasks, or submission-oriented evaluation across the semester.
